I run creative strategy sessions for individuals, artists, freelancers and business owners to help them clarify their high-level creative, business and personal goals. I help people create an action plan for the short to medium term, along with a framework that helps guide their future decision-making.
I run these one-on-one creative strategy sessions in a single, 3-hour workshop, with optional follow-up sessions afterwards. If you are interested in knowing more about them, please get in touch.
What to expect: I will help you sort through your high-level creative, personal and business goals. Once these are clear, I will help you identify what you need to do next and how you can use these goals to make decisions in the future.
What you will leave with: although this is completely tailored to your individual needs, typically you will leave with
a clear list of goals and values
a map of your likes and dislikes (to help you realise any misalignments between what you'd like to be doing and what you're actually doing)
a framework to guide future decisions in your creative work and personal life
a to-do list of actionable tasks to get you started
My approach: I approach these sessions from a place of curiosity, kindness and impact. Work and creativity doesn't exist in a vacuum: my goal is to understand you and your work in the context of your personal life and what's important to you.
What you need to do in advance: think about areas you might need help with or want to discuss. Or just come unprepared and we can work it out together! I'm good at sorting through things and working out what is important.
Common topics we could cover: marketing activities, social media strategy, scheduling, time management skills, imposter syndrome, prioritising creative projects, business management skills, work-life balance, changing career paths, burnout, budgeting, asking for help and saying no.
At the end of the day: you should go away with a clear idea of what you want to achieve that can support your decision-making in the future, along with some actionable next steps.
Sarah's creative strategy session was exactly what I needed. She dedicated plenty of time to helping me articulate my own goals - not my publisher's, my agent's or my readers', mine - and provided a clear, actionable plan for my artistic output over the medium to long term. I highly recommend her services for anyone looking to bring structure to their creative journey.

Sarah’s session helped me tremendously with becoming aware of what’s important for me and eased me into the uncertainty of being a full-time comedian. It’s helping me to know when to say "no" to offers that aren’t aligned with my goals and values, and therefore focus on what is. Thank you!

Sarah's strategy session was like going to creative therapy. Sarah not only helped me create a clear, achievable "to do" list, but she left me with a framework to help me make decisions for my business in the future. Sarah tailored the session to match my unique values, goals and life situation. I can't recommend her sessions highly enough.

I had a creative strategy session with Sarah and it genuinely transformed my career. At the time, I was at a crossroads with my career path and felt very unsatisfied with my work; I had no idea where to start to reshape my future. Sarah was extremely helpful in creating a session specifically catered to these issues, helping me realise my misalignment and strategise action items as well as the direction I wanted to move forward in.
Her session was empowering and motivating, and I still to this day find my notes and information from the session helpful in maintaining alignment with my career and goals. I highly recommend a session - or multiple sessions! - for anyone looking to make a more intentional move towards a gratifying personal and professional life.

I really appreciated how natural the session felt with Sarah. It was easy to talk to her, and she created a space where I felt genuinely heard and supported. She asked the right questions that helped bring clarity to my scattered thoughts, and I was surprised by how much we got done in such a short time. It felt like a very focused and productive session.

I recently worked with Sarah for a creative strategy session during a particularly hectic chapter of my life — I was leading Marketing Operations at Employment Hero while juggling a stack of personal projects and competing priorities. Sarah helped me cut through the noise with such clarity and care.
Her approach is intuitive yet structured — she guided me to identify the principles that actually drive me, and from there we built a clear, values-aligned roadmap that made the overwhelm feel manageable.
Whether you're an individual feeling stretched across multiple roles or a business seeking direction, Sarah has a gift for seeing the big picture and the fine detail. I walked away from our session with not just a plan, but a renewed sense of purpose.
